I have been in Colombia for over a month. I´m considering this my halfway point. I have been able to see and experience some amazing things including hiking up a volcano, touring a coffee farm, walking through a cloud forest and playing many traditional colombian games. I have also had the luck and opportunity to stay with some amazing people and families that have been incredibly hospitable and kind. I feel like I know the large cities and center of this counry fairly well now. My next adventure is going to take me to Ecuador for 3 weeks. I am headed for a spanish school on the beach in a small town called Canoa. Hopefully some of the gaps in my comprehesion and speaking can be filled there. I will then return to Bogota for a day before flying to the Colombian coastal city of Santa Marta. I will spend about two weeks seeing the coast and hopefully the national park of Tayrona before flying back to Medelling for my flight home on feb 12th. I think about home, family and friends everyday and I hope you all are healthy and well. Here are few photos.
